It’s been a little while since the last post and I have been late getting this one out, but I found the time to head out and check out the latest drift practice at the Wanneroo Raceway. It was a bit different this time with the event happening across the day time instead of at night, but it provided some great conditions for capturing some awesome action shots!
I was quite surprised though, its winter and I had planned the day to be cool but I was completely wrong! It was hot in the sun and having black clothing did not help. I should’ve brought a hat and some sunscreen so I unfortunately did not stay for as long as I would have wanted. However, I still managed to clock in a solid 2500 raw shots and narrowed it down to some really good 150+ shots.
On review though, some photos are a little blown out and that was not the case when editing. It seems that my 9year old IPS monitor is just not giving me that colour reproduction that I need so it looks like I will have to save up for a nice new OLED or similar!
