Another Saturday of watching drivers absolutely send it around the raceway and showing off their skill! It was a great night, with the event starting off earlier, I was able to get some great well-lit shots along with some beautiful golden hour shots. But the real magic happened when the sun went down and the engines got hot. Red hot exhausts and unburnt fuel created some awesome flames and bright engine bays which stood out in the dark!
I had only just acquired a new lens that same day, a 70-200mm F/2.8 lens which was absolutely incredible in its sharpness and the low light performance. Although it was tempting to use the 50mm F/1.8 for more light, this 70-200mm lens did not come off the camera the whole night as it was the perfect lens for the job.
