This is a delayed post, but finally got past the ADHD forgetfulness and here we are!
During the last drift event, a massive flock of Black Cockatoos came close to the track, and although the cars were exciting and there was lots of action, these beautiful birds pulled me away and I went wandering off to get some better shots, and it was totally worth it!
I’ve never seen so many Black Cockatoos in one area before and it was just incredible. I wanted to get close, but I obviously wanted to avoid disturbing them, so I found a little spot where I could sit and watch them from about 20m away. Thankfully I had the camera gear on me already so I shot away!
Unfortunately, not all shots were perfectly clear, but I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them and reviewing them!
