Oh what a weekend! It was half on an impulse and half planned but I am so very glad we made the trip down to my old hometown!
This weekend had the annual Forest Rally on, something I used to go to every year as a kid, and it had been a good 10+ years since I was last there.
Rallying is one of those motorsports that will always be limited to racing on my sim at home, and I seriously love watching these drivers dart through the pine forests of Nannup and defy belief with their cars hammering around dirt corners like nothing!
Massive weekend for the camera though. Using my now favourite 70-200mm F/2.8 lens, I captured nearly 6000 photos of these cars! A weeks worth of editing and I narrowed it down to about 450ish.
These are some of my favourites, with some duplicates of different cropping, but I feel like I got some absolutely awesome shots!
